Delkia is currently seeking 3 x CE&I Design Engineering Consultants to support nuclear EPC projects in West Cumbria

Delkia currently has an opportunity to support two of our clients in-flight projects in the nuclear decommissioning sector.  We are seeking 3 x control, electrical and instrumentation engineering consultants with an immediate start. 

Expertise

Successful consultant(s) will have working knowledge of the nuclear decommissioning sector ideally and use to working in large EPC / asset care teams.  Working as part of a large collaborative team the successful engineering consultant(s) will be required to support on:- 
  • Post Operational Clean Out (POCO)
  • Control, Electrical and Instrumentation designs and / or management of designs
  • Asset care and major refurbishment experience on a brownfield site
  • Have working knowledge of AutoCAD, Amtech and PDMS 
  • Design in accordance with the IET 18th edition (BS7671)
  • Can produce and maintain key deliverable documents, reports, calculations, schedules, drawings to programme and appropriate quality
  • Can liaise and coordinate with other design disciplines and plant engineering in the preliminary and detail design process

Skills and Qualifications​
  • Consultants are expected to be either incorporated or chartered with a professional engineering institute 
  • Demonstrate familiarity with local nuclear domain and IEC / BSI standards
  • At least 5 years engineering experience in nuclear 
  • Working with Safety Systems would be advantageous
  • Must be able to obtain or hold suitable security clearance
