Inventor/PDMS Designer or Graduate Inventor/PDMS Designer

Delkia is currently seeking an Inventor/PDMS Designer or Graduate Inventor/PDMS Designer to join the team and support the delivery of Nuclear and Defence sector projects.

The successful candidate will have sound skills in CAD and specifically AutoDesk Inventor, Nuclear experience is preferable but not essential.
Graduate PDMS/Inventor Designer applicants will have experience of design and working with Inventor, as part of the role they will develop their skills in CAD and AutoDesk Inventor.
The Inventor designer will:
Ensure compliance with client specifications and engineering standards.
Produce conceptual designs, design schemes and detail drawings and associated design documentation.
Maintain compliance with Engineering Standards and applicable legislation
Participate in Design Reviews ensuring that subsequent designs are captured, and drawings updated.
Work with the manufacturing team to ensure buildability and constructability of products
Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients is upheld.
Proficient with Autodesk Inventor
Assist in product design and development
Skills and Qualifications
HNC / HND / Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (membership of an appropriate institute would be desirable but is not essential).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office suite of programmes.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be a British national and able to achieve security vetting/clearance.
