The M&E Construction Manager will be responsible for the management of a varied portfolio of projects from initial enquiry through to final accounts, ensuring all works completed meet client and company expectations and deadlines. Demonstrable project management skills ideally in accordance with APM, Prince2 or similar associations. Be able to operate across Cumbria, with occasional temporary support outside of the county. Organisation and project management of M&E projects within a commercial environment. Ensure that all works are completed in line with the company Health and Safety policy/RAMS. Ensure clarity of responsibility for the site team through briefings and daily communication. Liaise with clients and customers at all levels in order to improve service delivery. Lead and motivate the project and site teams. Produce scopes of works document from given brief or drawings. Plan and agree scheme phasing details with the design team. Continually monitor supplier quotations against rates. Attend and manage on-site scheme phases Perform site surveys. Demonstrate the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Qualification is preferred. Previous demonstrable experience of managing M&E Projects with at least 10 years’ experience. SMSTS Site Management qualification. CSCS Cardholder. Understanding of Health & Safety procedures paramount. Experience in a customer facing role, with a proven track record of building client relationships. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programmes. Excellent communication skills. Ability to provide 3 references and undertake a DBS check.
