We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated C&I Engineer to join our dynamic team at Delkia.

 

Overview of the role


Successful candidates will be a competent and proven C&I Engineer, capable of expertise across the lifecycle of C&I Systems, checking and facilitating designs, supporting calculations and technical documents (inc. Plans) with minimal supervision. They will have the ability to translate a client's requirements into a meaningful engineering and technical solution.  Good communication skills and C&I skills are essential.


Key responsibilities:


  • Maintain the Engineering Quality of the project, ensuring compliance with client specifications and engineering standards and local domain policy and procedures.

  • Be responsible for the technical quality of complex, fit-for-purpose engineering systems.

  • Have experience of lifecycle and maturity management.

  • Generate and update technical documentation to the client’s specification.

  • Maintain compliance with Engineering Standards and applicable legislation.

  • Participate in Design and System Level Reviews. Ensure that subsequent design meets the project and client requirements.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients is upheld.

  • Qualified to degree level in an appropriate STEM area.

  • Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects

  • Flexibility and an ability to compromise

  • A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions

  • A high level of attention to detail

  • An understanding of, and ability to work with, high-level computer technology
