We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Delkia.


Overview of the role


Working as a Project Manager you will play a key role in Delkia’s future, strengthening the concept, design, planning and execution of strategically important projects. With an understanding of project management methodologies, the role is to support the Programme and Operations Manager with the technical, commercial and financial management aspects associated to the delivery of projects.


Key responsibilities


  • Prepare meeting packs/presentations, capturing minutes, agreed actions, updating teams and senior management.

  • Support Tender Submissions from a Project Management perspective.

  • Prepare schedules and monitor progress against established baselines.

  • Establish and maintain weekly reporting, by setting up regular internal and external team meetings.

  • Work collaboratively with the Projects Team to deliver the assigned project to defined cost, schedule, and quality requirements, leading to a successful handover.

  • Developing and maintaining project documentation templates.

  • Ensuring all project documentation is completed.

  • Tracking and monitoring project spending and reporting variances, using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.

  • Positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) associated with the project.

  • Using DAREO, identify potential dependencies, assumptions, risks, exceptions, opportunities, project problems, mitigation contingencies and implement corrective actions.

  • Highlighting where updates or escalations are required.

  • Play an active part in Lessons Identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Promoting continuous improvement and recommending or implementing process improvements where possible.

  • Take ownership and pride in your work and promoting project management success through the team.


Desired Qualifications / Prerequisites


  • Degree in Project Management (desirable)

  • PRINCE/APM Project Management Qualification (desirable)

  • Proficient with the full Microsoft Office suite

  • Competent with use of MS Project

  • Detail orientated, high standard of accuracy & quality

  • Excellent organisational skills
