Delkia is a finalist in not just one, but two categories in this years In-Cumbria Business of the Year: SME of the Year and, for our CEO Kurt Canfield, Business Person of the Year.
These awards fall in the 10th year of operations by Delkia which, led by CEO Kurt Canfield, has grown from a small company with just two employees, to a turnover of just under £6M in 2022 and projected growth to £10M in 2023. In 2022 Delkia also expanded to three locations across the North West, to serve new and existing customers in aerospace, clean energy and maritime sectors.
In terms of being nominated for Business Person of the Year, Kurt said: "It's a great honour to be recognised by the judging panel and by Team Delkia. For me, this award is recognition for the staff at Delkia, for their belief in the vision and the dogged enactment of our values, to create the inspirational culture we have as a business. To be selected alongside the calibre of individuals shortlisted is a real feat and me and the team are privileged and overwhelmed; we wish everyone good luck for what should be an enjoyable awards evening.”
These award nominations follow the shortlisting of Delkia earlier this year for Business of the Year by BECBC,* which will be announced on the 16 November, 2023.
The In-Cumbria Business Award winners will be announced on the 23 November, 2023.
