We are currently looking for a Principal Hardware Engineer to support our clients in the Defence and Aerospace sector. Delkia provide consultancy and systems integration services within complex and challenging environments. The successful candidate will become part of our consultancy division, whilst supporting our systems development team. Expertise:
Circuitry design, specifically designs for boards using complex FPGAs or similar.
Vast knowledge of PCB development tools.
Auditing assessments of hardware systems and deliverables, previous auditing experience would be advantageous.
System level and sub-system integration and Debugging capabilities.
MATLAB and Simulink.
Design solutions for internal projects.
Understanding of the lifecycle requirements of hardware development.
Ability to work in a small and growing company supporting in both consultancy and product development.
Understanding of high-integrity and complex systems with high assurance levels.
Understanding the expectations of airworthiness assessments (or similar).
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree Qualified in relevant engineering field
Member of relevant professional membership organisation
The Principal Hardware Engineer will need to travel both within the United Kingdom and there will be an expectation of overseas travel to support projects. Due to the nature of the company's speciality services in systems engineering, you will need to be able to achieve full UK SC security clearance and be a British National.
Please note, although this position is home based, regular travel to Delkia headquarters in Cumbria will be required.
