Project Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Delkia.

 

Overview of the role

The successful applicant will be working within the project management team, aligning delivery to the business plan and assisting in tender development. Excellent writing and research skills, together with the ability to multi-task and present confidently, are essential. Ideally demonstrate the flexibility to manage several small projects concurrently. Experience of running projects up to a portfolio of £20k - £2M in value would be

ideal. Energy Sector experience preferred. Ideally working towards APMP or Prince 2 Professional registration or affiliation.

 

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the dedicated Portfolio Manager within Delkia, the Project Engineer will be

responsible for delivering safety related projects within the company. The role will require the

successful candidate to:

 

  • Be able to use project management tools and software such as MS Project / P3E (or similar).

  • Be aware of earned value management, CPI, SPI and real-time accruals.

  • Be totally client focused and aspiring to meet the clients’ expectations.

  • NEC 3 / Commercial Training.

  • Have an awareness of real-time project tracking, deadlines, and resource management.

  • Work individually to meet deadlines and hit targets, whilst liaising with company and engineering to produce and deliver the projects.

  • Raising of technical queries.

  • Use of CEMAR or similar.
