Delkia is an expanding SME based in West Cumbria. We are currently seeking Reliability and Safety Engineers to support a range of ongoing projects, locations available for this position are Barrow, Preston or Rochester.

Reliability and Safety Engineers help their clients achieve asset excellence, moving from reactive to proactive asset management by utilising their proven condition monitoring and reliability engineering techniques.
Successful candidates will be meticulous, methodical and analytical. They will understand the importance of confidentiality ensuring company and client information security is upheld. Previous experience in the Defence sector would be advantageous.
The Reliability and Safety Engineer role will include:
Reliability modelling and prediction
Fault Tree Analysis
Weibull Tree Analysis
Root-cause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA)
Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
Skills and Qualifications
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
Degree in a mathematics, engineering or science subject
A masters degree in systems engineering (or similar) would be preferable
Incorporated or Chartered status is desired, but not essential
Professional member of IET (or similar)
Outstanding communication skills with sound business related knowledge
Ability to support colleagues at all levels effectively and professionally even when under pressure
Candidates must be a British National and be able to meet security clearance.
