Training Success, AOCS Nieuw Milligen DLM/ICO Course - February 2025
We are happy to share the successful completion of our first training delivery of the year with our recent Data Link Manager / Interface Control Officer (DLM/ICO) course which was hosted by AOCS Nieuw Milligen, spanning from 10 – 28 February, 2025.
The DLM/ICO role is crucial in the Tactical Data Link (TDL) interface, managing both planning and execution functions.
Our comprehensive three-week program drew military professionals from The Netherlands and Belgium. Together, this diverse group delved into planning, building, interacting, and managing Multi TDL architectures, fostering collaborative learning and forging valuable relationships for future endeavours. Our program went beyond theory by emphasizing practical exercises, simulations, and real-world operational software to actively involve participants. This hands-on approach created a dynamic and collaborative learning environment, ensuring each student gained confidence and a deep understanding of every TDL. The skills developed equip TDL planners and operators to seamlessly meet information exchange requirements in both training and operational contexts.
The next DLM/ICO course will take place from 5 – 23 May, 2025 and will be hosted by the Swedish Naval School in Karlskrona, Sweden.
