Delkia sponsors the BECBC Future Generation Award

Delkia won the BECBC Growing Business of the Year Award in 2024. This year, we decided to give back to the West Cumbria business community by sponsoring the Empowering the Future Generation Award 2025—a category that perfectly reflects our values, vision, and commitment to investing in talent through apprenticeships and our Graduate Scheme.

This award celebrates organisations that actively invest in young people, shaping the future of industry and innovation.

As part of our involvement, Laura Torney, our Tender Manager, had the privilege of judging this year’s shortlisted nominees: Engineering Centre of Excellence, David Allen IT Solutions, West Cumberland Group, and Ansaldo. She was shadowed by Ashlee, a Business Administration Apprentice at Delkia—giving her invaluable insight into business awards and best practice in developing staff.
