Delkia, specialist systems integrator, has recently appointed three senior engineers: two EC&I engineers and an Avionics engineer, and welcomed back an intern. In addition, we also welcome our new work experience student, Rebecca.

Our new senior engineers are:

Craig has a background as an RPI Mechanic at Cavendish Nuclear, where he was involved in fixing and configuring various radiation monitoring equipment. He said: ‘Delkia interested me as they are a young company that is making great strides forward to becoming a major player in the engineering industry.’
Kevin Montfort, Senior EC&I Engineer manages digital and design engineering, system integration, technical consultancy, and complex control systems support. He said: ‘I was interested in the job location, vision, values, and the benefits at Delkia. The interviewing process was relaxed, positive and matched the company values.’
Sam Southwell has joined Delkia Preston as an Avionics Systems Engineer, with 28 years of experience. He spent 22 years with the Royal Airforce and 16 years at Synthesis where he specialised in secure comms and tactical data links. Sam said: ‘I was looking for a new challenge and it was time to go back to where I started as part of the bigger picture of avionics.
We also welcome back Aaron, who joins us from Lancaster University where he is studying Computer Science BSc (Hons) degree reading Systems and Security. He has returned as an intern on a part time basis to support with IT systems across the business. He said: ‘I chose Delkia because of the variety of work on offer and the number of interesting sectors the company is involved in.’
