Kurt Canfield, Chief Executive Officer
​Delkia is led by Kurt Canfield, a Chartered Engineer and Certified Functional Safety Professional with over 20 years’ experience in functional safety, qualification and certification. In the last 10 years, Kurt has overseen Delkia's growth, from serving the nuclear industry in Cumbria, to now serving Defence and Nuclear sectors.

Kurt is incredibly proud of the team he has helped create — one of his favourite parts of his job is seeing his employees grow and flourish.​

Stephen Neale, Managing Director - Nuclear
As the lead for Delkia’s sales strategy and operations, Stephen combines deep engineering expertise with strong business acumen.
After earning his engineering degree from Liverpool John Moores University, he founded a company backed by private equity investors. Within three years, the business gained traction and was acquired by a larger firm. He then returned to engineering, joining a multi-billion dollar company in the nuclear and construction sectors, while successfully completing a Global MBA at the University of Manchester.

Shaun Hughes, Managing Director - Defence
Shaun is Delkia’s Managing Director for Defence, with extensive leadership experience across engineering, manufacturing, and the defence sector. He recently led a £40 million Ministry of Defence project awarded to an SME.

His career spans surface maritime and land systems, where he turned around complex military projects in digital manufacturing. As owner of Cleanbake Ltd, he drove a decade of growth, doubling turnover, boosting EBITDA by 15%, and successfully selling the company to a global player.​ Earlier, Shaun held senior roles at BAE Systems and served in the Royal Air Force, consistently delivering strategic insight and operational excellence.

Amy Bryant, CFO
Amy’s role involves developing financial operations for the business and ensuring they are in line with overall strategy. Her responsibilities also include HR, digital transformation and supply chain management.
After completing her degree at Leeds University, Amy qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG where she spent four years in the audit department. Amy has worked across a range of sectors in large corporates, private equity backed businesses, and more recently - owner managed businesses on a journey of high growth.

Warren Richards, Operations Consultant
Warren is Delkia’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for providing strategic leadership and driving operational excellence across the business.
Warren brings a wealth of experience to Delkia. Warren began his career at NNC and BNFL before moving into project and business management. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Dalton Nuclear Institute at the University of Manchester, supported EDF’s AGR fleet at AMEC, held leadership roles at Wood and Jacobs, and transformed UK operations as COO at Orano.
