Delkia Clean Energy is proud to support STEM education with a recent donation of specialist equipment to Kirkland C of E Academy which will help inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Mark Sisson, Director Clean Energy, and Hayden Bound (pictured), Project Management Apprentice, visited the school to meet pupils and see the range of equipment provided, which included a microscope with USB connectivity to allow young learners to explore the microscopic world, giant wooden outdoor scales, jumbo guttering and channelling, and an outdoor sink with water pump. This equipment enables creative and investigative play, promoting physical development through handling and collaboration, and invites children to experiment with balance and weight, enriching their understanding of mathematical principles.
‘Delkia is committed to supporting STEM education to help ensure we develop the talented future engineers the world needs.’ said Mark Sisson, Director Clean Energy.
Kirkland C of E Academy said: ‘We would like to say a great big thank you for the incredible donation of some amazing STEM resources to enhance our outdoor learning…Delkia, you have made our little learners very happy!’
