Delkia CEO, Kurt Canfield, Joins Whitehaven Community Trust Board of Trustees

Delkia is proud to announce that Kurt Canfield, CEO of Delkia, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Whitehaven Community Trust (WCT), a vital charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and families across West Cumbria.

WCT provides essential support in areas such as homelessness, domestic violence, mental health, and youth services, continuing to play a crucial role in addressing the needs of the local community. Kurt’s appointment to the board reflects a shared commitment to social responsibility and community investment.

Kurt joins the board alongside Mike Graham, an adviser at Copeland Borough Council. Chair of Whitehaven Community Trust, Martin Parlett, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointments:

Kurt brings decades of leadership experience in the defence and nuclear sectors. Through his work at Delkia—a specialist engineering and technology company focused on safety-related and mission-critical systems in highly regulated sectors including defence and nuclear—he has driven innovation that will support WCT in advancing its strategy and broadening its impact.
